Our boat dock shifted after last winter’s deep freeze, and we contacted four dock builders to find out whether it could be repaired. One builder told us the only option was to tear out the old dock and build a new one, another said it could not be straightened but could be braced, and one never returned our call. Daniel from Integrity Deck & Dock said he could try to straighten and brace it—and he and his team did exactly that. He was my second interview and even with our first phonecon setup, I felt he was "the one". He did an amazing job and still isn't completely finished as I added a little more work to the project. However, the initial project is completed. I wasn't on a time crunch and actually preferred him to take his time. He was working with a 44 year old deck and so I wanted more attention to detail to be sure there was no wood rot or anything out of the ordinary. I checked on them everyday as I work from home. He explained everything going on, extremely enthusiastic about his work and showed some really cool things and tools. His pricing was great. Very responsive to questions and concerns. I felt very comfortable asking and he never flinched at them. Extremely knowledable about the products and the work. He is "Hands on", so not just a person in sales, but actually gets in there and gets his hands dirty. His crew guys are great. They clean up afterward each day, put things away to the side so its not in everyone's way. Any changes or add on's, he is always receptive to them. He reinstalled my dog gate at the top of the deck. Plans to put furniture back after we get the feet tips for the legs of tables and chairs. He is very honest and trustworthy and I trust his opinion. I am looking at having him redo my dock next year. The first project was in the kitchen where he painted all of the cabinets and did a wonderful job with bead board and crown molding on the cabinets. He then did a beautiful looking backsplash. The second project was fixing some of the wood decking and supports around a wood walkway we have around the water. He did a great job repairing all of the wood and the supports. Daniel is very professional and detail oriented. His pricing is very reasonable. He has committed to make sure that the customer is satisfied prior to completion.
